Our Process

  • Inquiry

    Fill out our project inquiry form so we can get a good idea of the services you’re looking for. Plus, schedule your initial discovery consultation so that we can get to know each other better.

  • Discovery Call

    We’ll chat for 30 minutes about you, your business, and goals you have for your photoshoot. During this call we’ll be able to determine project scope and quote you accurately.

  • Contract

    We’ll send you the project quote or recommendations, and if you’re ready to proceed we’ll send the contract. Signing the contract and paying a 20% deposit will secure your session.

  • Strategy

    We’ll go over all the details for your photoshoot. For personal branding clients, we’ll send you a questionnaire and photoshoot planning guide to cover all the bases.

  • Photoshoot

    We meet at the agreed location and take all the photos you need to represent your brand well. Final payment will be due at least 24 hours prior to your photoshoot.

  • Edits + Delivery

    Once the photoshoot is over, we’ll curate and edit your photos. Most clients can expect to receive their gallery within a week, unless project requires major retouching on images.

Hey There!

Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet. I hope to meet you soon, if I haven’t already!

When I originally dreamt up the name “Casting Shadows Creative,” I wanted to make sure that the focus of the business was always on the people I planned to serve. Most photographers name the business after themselves, which helps with recognition amongst other photographers. However, this service not all about me – it’s about us creating imagery together.

With 8+ years of portrait photography experience and 4+ years of experience in a strategic corporate marketing position, I can confidently say that the intersection of serving people well, photography, and brand building is where I shine.

My goal as your photographer and creative strategist is to help you craft imagery that not only provides a practical context for your business’s product or services, but also connects with your clients and/or customers on an emotional level. Your imagery should spark curiosity, trust, understanding, and a desire for more interaction in the minds of your supporters. All the good things that make your brand irresistible!
